This cool and comfortable bar offers an eclectic selection of food and drink, boasting fresh ingredients for both. You might want to start with salt and pepper squid or crispy pork belly with baked apple and ginger puree. Main courses cater for vegetarians as well as confirmed meat-eaters: roasted red onion and Brie tartlet might just tempt a carnivore away from Gloucester Old Spot sausages and mash. A bottle of house red and some decadent baked cheesecake to finish will cost you little over £50. Helpful staff complement your evening; this is a real find. 
Fashionable Bam-Bou hides four floors of pan-Asian elegance behind its elegant Georgian façade, all furnished in handsome colonial style. The urbane menu blends Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese influences to produce dishes such as baked mackerel in banana leaf and mutton massaman curry with quince. Three private rooms are available, while the top floor bar is a hideaway from the hectic pace of central London.
