About Skylon Occupying the 3rd floor within the Royal Festival Hall, Skylon offers a spectacular scenic view of London’s skyline and the Thames with floor to ceiling windows. Its name derives from the original iconic structure of the 1951 Festival of Britain, Skylon has been designed to reflect the style of the renovated Royal Festival Hall with additional modern touches, such as bespoke chandeliers and surfaces of slate, walnut, and bronze. The menu is modern European with a hint of British influence. Signature plates include Denham estate venison carpaccio, pickled beets, toasted hazelnuts, cabernet sauvignon dressing and wild salmon from Scotland confit with watercress cream.
