Al Duca, set in London’s Piccadilly is approaching its tenth birthday. Opened in 1999 as part of the Pulze’s ‘Cuisine Collection’ restaurant group, Al Duca’s offers fine Italian food that has earned it a legion of loyal diners. The restaurant itself uses traditional Italian colours to evoke a warm and inviting feel; terracotta, olive and stone along with oak timber and mosaic tiling are used to great effect. The menu is suitably Italian, offering dishes such as tiger prawns with saffron vinaigrette, clam, garlic and chilli oil linguini and calf’s liver with spinach, raisins and pine nuts. Three courses here cost an average of £40 per person which could be an offer you can’t refuse!

Spread over three floors, Albannach is a monument to Scottish cooking in the heart of London’s West End. The vibrant menu explores delicately flavoured dishes from all corners of the subcontinent, with sophisticated modern presentation from the food down to the elegant décor. The restaurant offers a fully inclusive set menu for lunch and pre-theatre, and all food served is Halaal. 
Sophisticated Benihana, tucked away in Piccadilly, is a teppanyaki dining experience as entertaining as it is mouthwatering. Pick your dish, then watch as the energetic chefs prepare and grill it in front of you. A well-executed menu also offers Japanese specialities such as sushi, while a private dining room can accommodate up to 10 people. 
Serene little Benja is a sleek Thai restaurant that is full of style, occupying three floors of an old Soho townhouse. The restaurant itself is split between a low-lit slate-walled dining room, adorned with brightly coloured fish, and a bright green, mirrored space with elegant banquette seating. The concise menu is full of bold and sophisticated flavouring, prepared at the hands of a chef who comes from a long line of family members who all worked in the kitchens of the Thai royal family. The chic basement bar is a seductive spot for after-dinner drinks. 
Historic Bentley’s Oyster Bar and Grill has been touting its oysters to the upmarket diners of Soho and Mayfair since 1916. Situated in an elegant Victorian building with a restored Arts and Crafts interior, Bentley’s is divided between a relaxed marble-topped bar for lighter meals with a more formal three-roomed grill restaurant, serving lightly flavoured fresh fish, meat and game dishes.
