The uber-chic Shoreditch follow-up to the hugely successful Notting Hill branch of Beach Blanket Babylon – houses a restaurant, contemporary art gallery, and opulent cocktail lounge. BBB Shoreditch occupies a cavernous converted old warehouse on the Bethnal Green Road and is designed in strong sympathy with its warehouse roots yet boasts a quintessentially Boho Chic and Grand French Country Chateau habitat. Luxurious Art Deco style meets 60’s and 70’s opulence spills across the three floors, each with their own particular allure. With high ceilings, open theatre kitchens and a large marble bar, dining areas are divided into discreet raised levels as well as ample banquette seating. The menu offers sublime Modern European cuisine from a large, open-plan kitchen & includes dishes such as: seared scallops with honey roasted butternut squash & truffle oil puree; British cider mussels with fries; thyme, lemon & parmesan risotto with red chard salad & herb crusted rack of lamb with potato dauphinoise, sauté curly kale, mint vinaigrette & rosemary jus. After dinner, guests are invited to use the glamorous old style cage lift to take them into the downstairs cocktail area, where a large central, marble bar offers an array of tempting wines, spirits & cocktails.
