This ground level bar is situated next to City Thameslink on Ludgate Hill and close to St. Pauls Cathedral. With a high decorative ceiling and a spacious bar area, Balls Brothers Ludgate Hill is perfect for a light lunch or meeting up with friends after work. The bars deliver freshly prepared, fine tasting food to their customers all day and have an extensive wine list, featuring only the wines selected by the principal wine buyer and proprietor, Richard Balls. The Balls Brothers Ludgate Hill menu offers the best of British cooking: pan-fried calves’ liver with crispy bacon and bubble and squeak, and steak and kidney pudding with wild watercress mash are signatures.
