Blue Elephant is a dining experience not to be missed. As soon as you enter through the lush tropical jungle entrance and cross the small bridge over a picturesque lily pond past the gold plated bar in the shape of a Royal Thai barge you are transported to a different world. The dining room boasts Thai antiques and artefacts, water features with coy carp, beautiful plants and displays of real orchids, flown in weekly from Thailand together with the fresh herbs, spices and indigenous Thai ingredients used in the kitchen. Alongside Thai classics such as Satays, Thai Fishcakes and Green Chicken Curry, the Royal Thai menu also includes a broad range of speciality dishes including salad of green papaya with dried shrimp & lemon, followed by a zesty prawn curry with orange & jackfruit or spicy fried sirloin with Thai aubergines. The spectacular, family-friendly Sunday Brunch with its magnificent buffet is a particular favourite with regular diners.
