About AvenueAvenue is a wonderfully bright and airy restaurant & bar nestled in the heart of St James's, perfectly situated for business entertaining and pre or post theatre dining. The bar is the ideal place to savour a refreshing cocktail with friends while watching the world go by. With a modern British menu serving fresh seasonal food, simply prepared and cooked. The menu is frequently updated reflecting the seasonal slant to the cooking, though popular dishes remain throughout the year. Dishes range from seared scallops with ham hock and pea puree to Slow roast Gloucester Old Spot pork belly, white beans and chorizo cassoulet, Cornish crab & whiting fishcakes, and fillet steak 'au poivre'. Daily specials ensure there is always a selection of new dishes on the menu for the regular customers.
