About 1901 Restaurant
Situated in the Andaz Hotel just moments from Liverpool Street station, 1901 boasts an enviable location in the heart the City. The building itself dates back to 1884, but the the Grade-II listed interior of 1901 combines modern and contemporary décor with classical pillars and a spectacular stain-glassed dome in the ceiling. Innovative British cuisine is the order of the day, patriotically using the best of British produce wherever possible with highlights including Cornish mackerel with pickled cauliflower & sea purslane; neck of Suffolk venison is slow-cooked in red wine & port; & fillet of south coast brill comes with braised ox cheeks, Jerusalem artichokes & chanterelles.
